Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information subashlimbu.com (the "Site") collects, why, and what your choices are. The Site is run by Subash Limbu ("I", "me"). If you have questions, email contactsubashlimbu@gmail.com.

1. Information I collect

Contact form. If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address and message you type in. I use them only to reply to you.

Email. If you email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send.

Analytics. The Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build personal profiles. It records technical data such as page viewed, referrer, browser, device type and approximate country.

2. How I use information

• To answer your messages and enquiries.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse.

I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising.

3. Services that process data for me

• Formspree delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
• Cloudflare provides the analytics described above.
• GitHub Pages hosts the Site and may log visitor IP addresses for security and operations.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the Site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
• Notion is used to write blog posts. It does not receive data about visitors.

These providers have their own privacy policies and handle data under their own terms.

4. Cookies

The Site does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, this page will be updated and, where required, I will ask for your consent first.

5. External links

The Site links to other services such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Amazon, Gumroad and Netlify. Once you leave the Site, those services' own privacy policies apply. Purchases of my book or digital products are handled by the seller's platform, and I do not receive your payment details.

6. How long I keep information

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Cloudflare's standard settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to ask me to delete it. Email me at the address above and I will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect the information I receive.

10. Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
